Vieux Brussels II Belgian tapestry cushions cover depicts one of twelve hunting scenes in the Maximillian series woven in the late 16th century for the Archduke Maximillian who was later to become Emperor. The central ram of Aries signifies the month of March and the central horseman is the Emperor Charles V.
