Verdure Audenarde is a jacquard wall tapestry woven in France by Jules Pansu using the Gobelins stitch, and influenced by the medieval Mille-fleurs style as well as the 16th century Aristolochia style. Verdure tapestries appear in Flanders, Brussels, and Audenarde in the early 17th century. Verdure genre tapestries could be compared to landscape-painting, and are noted for having intricately detailed plant life and foliage.
