Terms and Returns

Payment:

  • We accept most major credit cards, certified money orders, and postal money orders.
  • If paying by Money Order please use a certified money order.
  • Personal checks are not accepted. 
  • Our payment service provider is secure and encrypted.  Touch of Tapestry does everything possible to ensure your payment is secure by using 256 bit SSL (Secured Socket Layer).
  • AVS (Address Verification) is used on all credit card orders for added protection.
  • The “Bill To” and “Ship To” address must be the same when ordering. 
  • Note: IF YOU WOULD LIKE THE ITEM SHIPPED TO A FRIEND/RELATIVE or WORK ADDRESS, CALL OR EMAIL WITH THE INFORMATION AND ADDRESS.

Shipping Information:

Items generally ship out within 3 to 5 business days. If item is on backorder, please allow 2 weeks for delivery.  You will receive an email with tracking numbers and carrier once item ships.  If you do not receive a ship notice email with tracking numbers within a few days of order, then please assume the item is on backorder and we will not forget your order.

Free shipping on all orders for US customers in the contiguous 48 states.

  • NOTE: SHIPPING RATES AND FREE SHIP ITEMS SHIP WITH GROUND SHIP (BASIC SHIPPING WHICH IS USUALLY 3 TO 10 BUSINESS DAYS.) IF YOU NEED YOUR ITEM SOONER, THEN LET US KNOW AND WE CAN QUOTE YOU A RATE FOR PRIORITY/EXPRESS SHIPPING, HOWEVER EXPRESS SHIPPINGS ARE USUALLY DOUBLE OR TRIPLE GROUND SHIP RATES DEPENDING UPON YOUR LOCATION.   We are happy to oblige by your wishes if it is possible.  

We use Fed Ex UPS and USPS for our shipping carriers.  Generally, we do not use signature service due to the fact that ship carriers will make a few attempts within a 1-2 day period to deliver the item.  However if customer is not home to sign, they will automatically ship the item back to our business.  This creates an overall added expense for our customers and our business, as we would have to bill our customers for the return shipping and re-shipping.  Please use the tracking numbers we provide when you receive an email with shipping information.  This way you can track the package and prepare for its arrival.  (note: we do not take responsibility for any packages stolen once they leave the warehouse.)

We regret that we cannot ship to APO or PO Boxes due to too may lost packages.  Please provide a physical address.  

Alaska and Hawaii customers, please request a ship quote. We will send you a separate invoice for shipping to these regions. No international shipping at this time.

Note:  Touch of Tapestry reserves the right to refuse an order.  Such circumstances may include: questionable purchasing, shipping, billing or payment arrangements.   

 

Additional Information: 

  • Sales Tax:  Pennsylvania Residents 6% Sales Tax .  All other states...NO TAX
  • Great Value Sets:  Have 2 options, one with rod and one with rod and tassels.  When choosing
  • "Rod only Option", and tassels are chosen also - without choosing the "Rod and Tassel Option price", we will not ship the tassels even though tassels may show in cart and on invoice. The price of the rod and tassels set must be the price in the cart. 
  • Discounted Priced Rods and Tassels: are sold only with purchase of wall tapestries.  If checkout is processed, rods and/or tassels will only be billed and delivered if wall tapestry is purchased.  Otherwise the transaction will be null and void.      
  • Price Beat Guarantee:  Touch of Tapestry has the lowest prices around.  Our price beat guarantee includes items from the same manufacturer, brand new, and first quality merchandise by 10% of the difference in both prices.  (Does not include comparisons on auction sites, returned or used merchandise, or non-first quality merchandise)     

 

Return Policy: 

We feel confident that you will be pleased with our items. However if you need to return the item(s) for a refund just let us know. Also, if there is anything we can do to exchange an item for another, we're always happy to help you find that perfect tapestry, plus we offer free consultations and recommendations....just give us a call or send an email.   

Please contact us first for a RMA number.

Please provide shipping tracking number from whatever shipping carrier you use, so we can track the order. 

  • Item(s) must be returned within 15 days of receiving item(s) (11 business days) and in new condition per order date. Items that are soiled, torn, or damaged which was not reported within 72 hours of receiving, will not be accepted for return.  There are no exceptions.
  • We will give you instructions and return address. Return item in original packaging if possible (as finding your own packaging can be costly). Just rip off the old label and re-use the box.
  • Email us the tracking numbers so we can wait for the package.  Items returned without RMA and tracking numbers will not be refunded.
  • Free Ship items will have our shipping and packaging costs subtracted from the refund.
  • The original shipping amount depends upon the item, if rod was purchased, location, shipping method and carrier.  When we email instructions with the return address and RMA number, we'll also give you the amount that will be deducted from the total price of the purchase(s). Return ship cost is customer's responsibility. 
  • Estimates for our original shipping include: carrier costs, handling charges (boxing) and insurance and range anywhere from @$10.00 to $25.00 (with the highest amounts of $35.00 to $80.00 for extremely large and higher priced European tapestries or multiple tapestries).  Note: if you would prefer to exchange item(s) for a different item of similar price, we will work with you on waiving part or all of our original ship costs. 
  • For wall hanging sets with rods and tassels or special purchase discounted rods and tassels; if returning wall hanging and you decide to keep the rod and/or tassels, we will ask that you pay a regular retail price for these items as they are sold lower than normal pricing with free shipping  when wall hanging is purchased.

  • Small Rods Special Purchase - $22.00
  • Tassels - $39.00 
  • Please allow 2-3 weeks for credit to show on credit card. (@ one billing cycle).

 

Regarding Damage:

All our items are brand new right from the warehouse.  If for some unforeseen reason there would be damage upon arrival...please contact us within 72 hours so we can rectify the situation.  We value and take good care of our customers, and provide an honest service. 

 

Regarding False Payments and Chargebacks:

Unfortunately we have to add this statement so we can keep offering our sincere customers the lowest prices and great service.

Fighting fraud is part of any business and a necessity in order to keep our overhead low and maintain a business.

False Payments of any type: chargebacks on credit card (or fraudulent money orders) for items purchased and received, will be responded to immediately with proof of purchase and tracking numbers.  We reserve the right to use the chargeback reversal process.  If fraudulent chargeback is upheld and no payment is made, we will submit the account to our collection agency.  This will be reported to all major credit bureaus as a delinquent account.  All bank and collection fees will be at the cost of the buyer.  This does not pertain to victims of stolen credit cards, but to the party that purchased the items using a stolen card and/or party that legitimately uses their own card to purchase item(s) and receives the item(s) then files a chargeback..
