Saqqarah Biege is a Belgian jacquard woven wall hanging. It represents the giving of sacrifices to the deceased Pharoh. The original artwork is displayed on the tomb of Ptahotep (or Ptah-hotep) in Sakkarah. It dates from the Ancient Empire (2650-2150 BCE). Saqqara (or Sakkara, Saqqarah, Sakkarah) is a vast, ancient burial ground in Egypt, featuring the world's oldest standing step pyramid.
