This tapestry is inspired by the famous Lady and the Unicorn tapestries which were originally woven during the 16th century. A unicorn and a lion are on opposite sides of the lady. The unicorn is a mythical creature depicting a white horse with a spiraling horn on his forehead, symbolizing faith, love, and purity. The original tapestries are exhibited in the Cluny Museum in Paris.
