From a set of nine mythological tapestries, designed by Francois Boucher and woven at the Manufacture Royale de Beauvais in the mid XVIII century. The arms at the top are King Louis the XVI's, who commissioned the set. The relative freedom of the century appears through the nudity of the figures. This particular tapestry shows Apollo and Clylie, the Nymph daughter of Oceanus.
