Inspired from the famous "Tentures Des Indes" series of 8 tapestries woven during the 17th and 18th centuries. The original artwork was designed by Albert Eckhout and depicts the original flora and fauna of the Dutch colonies. These tapestries met great success and were woven all through the 18th century.
