Inspired from the famous Tentures des Indes, set of 8 tapestries woven at the Gobelins during the 17th century. The original artwork was designed by Albert Echhout and depicts the exotic flora, fauna and natives of the Dutch colonies. These tapestries met great success and were woven all through the 18th century.
