Inspired from the Les Maisons Royales Series (Royal Residences): a set of 12 tapestries woven at the Gobelins towards the end of the XVII century for King Louis XIV. Each tapestry depicts a different castle at each month of the year. Here is a typical 17th century castle in an August landscape.
