This is a genuine Flanders woven wall tapestry. One of six tapestries in the Triumph of Apollo series, this scene depicts Apollo among the Muses, resting on Heiicon with representatives of literature and history. The original tapestry was produced in the Leyniers workshop in the early part of the 18th century designed by Barend Van Orley, assisted by Augustin Coppens.
