All tapestries are "genuine and first quality" jacquard woven tapestries from the finest mills in the world. If you see a picture of one of our tapestries somewhere else for a similar price and quoted to be woven in Belgium or France or US etc..., you can be sure it is from the same manufacturer. Some of our tapestris are lined (backing) here in the USA in order to bring our customers the same fine European weaving quality at a fraction of the cost. Our tapestries are discounted below retail market prices as we strive to offer our customers great value at the best price possible.

European and American made tapestries are woven using the same jacquard machine techniques as years ago. Modern day advancements and computer technology have been able to speed up the process yet still maintain an old world look.
 
Pictures are professional manufacturer pictures.  Please remember that most manufacturer pictures use high resolution photography.  We do our best to display as accurate a picture as possible, however keep in mind that professional pictures and computer monitor resolutions are different and beyond our control.  There may be variations in color beyond our control. We reduce saturation levels as best as possible without distorting the pictures to offer as accurate a representation as possible.  Monitors make tapestries look like a framed solid picture, when in reality tapestries are not bright in person as a solid piece of artwork would look.  Colored fabric materials jacquard woven look different in person.  Keep that thought and take the colors down a few notches in your mind when viewing the tapestries on your computer.  Also sizes are always estimates as this is the nature of the product. The process of weaving and lining can slightly increase or decrease the measurements.  No two tapestries are exactly alike as weaving is more of an art than a science. 
 
All wall hangings are lined and have hanging tunnels or rings (unless otherwise specified).
