This Jules Pansu tapestry, A Mon Seul Desir is taken from the original in the Cluny Museum, circa 1512. This tapestry is one of six of a well-known series of which five are devoted to the five senses. The sixth one represents a richly-clad lady standing in front of a tent crowned by a banner on which is inscribed “A MON SEUL DESIR” (To my only desire).
